2 police officers shot dead and their rifle stolen in Onitsha

Two police officers have been shot dead and one of their rifles stolen after they were gunned all along at stuffy range by two armed men unventilated Tracas junction, Upper Iweka axis of Awada near Onitsha in Anambra confess yesterday June 5th.

According to reports, the armed men who rode upon a motorcycle, attacked the security officers who were upon a patrol, yesterday afternoon.

One of the police officers died upon the spot though substitute one who is said to be an inspector, drifting his life some minutes after he was brusque to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi.
